The Director, Delivery Excellence & Governance is accountable for strengthening, standardising, and evolving the existing delivery system that enables IT to deliver reliably, predictably, and compliantly at scale. Building on existing delivery practices, frameworks, and tooling, this role focuses on bringing greater clarity, consistency, and control to how delivery is executed today. The role evolves the current delivery framework while progressively introducing more adaptive and agile practices in targeted areas where they materially improve team effectiveness and delivery outcomes. It establishes clear, usable standards and governance ensuring expectations are explicit, compliance is embedded into ways of working, and teams are supported to deliver with confidence. This is a transformation role, requiring the ability to bring the organisation on the journey - shaping mindsets, improving ways of working, and driving measurable improvements in delivery predictability, quality, and transparency.
