Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced commercial counsel to join our growing Commercial Legal team at Atlassian. This role involves leading strategic projects to scale the Legal and Sales functions, driving customer deals, and providing pragmatic legal and business guidance.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead special projects to scale the Legal and Sales functions
  • Drive strategic customer deals to execution by partnering with Sales and other teams

Requirements

  • Extensive experience negotiating outbound SaaS contracts
  • Ability to handle data protection, cybersecurity and revenue recognition issues in connection with commercial contracts

  • Excellent business judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly with a variety of teams
  • Strong presentation skills, especially with internal business leaders
