Job Description

Implementing RGA Southeast Asia Claims Management strategy; Deliver timely and high level of claims service to our clients; Identify and escalate potential risks; develop and maintain good client relationships. Facilitate digitization and automation; review and refine current processes to achieve operational excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Handle Claims BAU, deliver higher-lever and timely service in case assessment, consultation, training and audit, in accordance with Treaty Terms & Conditions, RGA Standards, guidelines, Claims Philosophy and Claims authority
  • Review and provide inputs to product design, policy provisions, treaty wordings, business development proposals, Claim Form design and Claims guidelines, business campaigns and related requests in a timely manner to help develop business
  • Building and maintaining relationships with client claims team and other stakeholders to facilitate strategic business objectives
  • Conduct claims analysis and management e.g. monitor claim trends and produce periodic dashboards and other reports
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, or service gaps in the day-to-day provision of claim service, audit program or claims reporting
  • Support claim digitalization initiatives
  • Effectively monitor claims team's performance, provide guidance, training, and coaching to team members and help the team grow
  • Keeping abreast of relevant life insurance claims trends and issues (including acting as the Claims Team contact for industry bodies)
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the manager from time to time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or above required
  • 10+ Years of claims experience in life & Health industry, preferably in Southeast Asia markets
  • Deep understanding of the Southeast Asia market, product, client and regulation
  • Advanced knowledge of medicine, law, accounting, and finance as applied to the evaluation of life reinsurance risks
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritization
  • Balanced technical skills and business sense
  • Able to deal with pressure
  • A high level of personal accountability and integrity (acting with transparency and honesty)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Familiar with digital tools, strong data analytic skills and creatively thinking
  • FLMI, FSI, ACS or ARA accreditation preferred
