Job Description:

Implementing RGA Hong Kong Claims Management strategy; Deliver timely and high level of claims service to our clients; Identify and escalate potential risks; develop and maintain good client relationships. Facilitate digitization and automation; review and refine current processes to achieve operational excellence.

  • Conduct day-to-day claims operations, delivering expert case assessments, consultations, training, and audits
  • Advise on product design, policy provisions, treaty wording, and business proposals to support business development
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with client claims team and other stakeholders
  • Conduct analysis, monitor trends and team performance, produce periodic reports
  • Support digital transformation initiatives within claims
  • Keeping abreast of relevant life insurance claims trends and issues
  • Provide guidance, training, and coaching to junior members
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • 10+ years of life and health claims experience
  • At least 5 years in the Hong Kong market
  • In-depth knowledge of market, products, clients, and regulations
  • Advanced understanding of medicine, law, accounting, and finance as they relate to life reinsurance risk assessment
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritization
  • Balanced technical skills and business sense
  • Able to deal with pressure
  • High integrity and personal accountability
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Sound judgment and stakeholder management
  • Familiar with digital tools
  • Strong data analytic skills and creatively thinking

Nice to have:

Professional accreditations such as FLMI, FSI, ACS, or ARA are preferred
