As a Business Director at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. You’ll team with world-class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line. The Director of Business Insights & Analytics will lead a team of 4-5 associates in bridging the gap between raw business data and operational execution. This includes empowering CF with deep operational visibility and data-driven foresight, ensuring our business decisions are grounded in evidence and our resources are deployed for maximum impact.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a centralized business & portfolio analytics function for all of CF that conducts regular monitoring, reporting, and analyses of business performance
  • Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future credit trends to historical behavior and testing hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis
  • Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the business strategy
  • Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, Finance, Operations, Originations, Underwriting, Portfolio Management, GEA and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
  • At least 7 years of experience in analysis

Nice to have:
