Job Description

The Director of Brand Marketing for Premium and All-Inclusive brands in the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) oversees the development, production, and tactical implementation of marketing strategies. The role involves developing and overseeing the execution of marketing strategies that align with CALA goals, partnering with brand leaders at regional, continental, and global levels, and collaborating in the development of the annual marketing plan to achieve both short- and long-term objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and oversee the execution of marketing strategies that align with CALA goals
  • Partner with global Brand Marketing and CALA Marketing and Loyalty stakeholders to ensure delivery of efficient and effective marketing plans
  • Collaborate in the development of annual budgets and manage an assigned budget
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives
  • Oversee the launch of new partnerships, campaigns, and offerings
  • Manage the positioning, brand guidelines, and creative development of the Premium and All-Inclusive portfolio
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners
  • Ensure all brand activities consider the affiliation of our Premium and All-Inclusive brands to the Marriott Bonvoy travel program
  • Direct Premium and All-Inclusive brand marketing initiatives
  • Develop brand and loyalty marketing campaigns & activations
  • Deliver a strategic and integrated marketing plan for HALO openings
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and optimize marketing strategies
  • Regularly report on performance metrics to stakeholders and adjust tactics as needed

Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, marketing and/or advertising required
  • advanced degree in Business or related area preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Marketing, Loyalty, Brand, or a comparable professional area
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required
