Job Responsibility
Set and evolve the enterprise benefits and wellbeing strategy, aligning programs to business priorities and workforce needs
Lead execution of a multi-year roadmap spanning health, retirement, and wellbeing
Oversee design, delivery, and governance of U.S. and Canada programs, including medical, pharmacy, retirement, leave, financial wellbeing, and holistic wellbeing initiatives
Manage budgets, forecast trends, and implement strategies that optimize spend while maintaining market competitiveness
Select, negotiate, and manage vendor partnerships to ensure high-quality delivery and measurable performance
Ensure compliance with all U.S. and Canadian regulatory requirements and maintain effective governance frameworks
Drive an integrated wellbeing strategy across physical, financial, and emotional health to increase engagement and utilization
Build and lead a high-performing team, strengthening capability and accountability across the function
Partner with Finance, Legal, and HR leaders to align rewards strategy with business objectives
Develop and execute enterprise-wide communication strategies that simplify complex concepts and increase employee understanding and action
Lead large-scale campaigns (e.g., annual enrollment, program launches) that improve participation and outcomes
Advise senior leadership on messaging, positioning, and stakeholder alignment
Lead change initiatives related to program evolution and vendor transitions, ensuring effective adoption and continuity
Requirements
8+ years of progressive experience in Benefits or Total Rewards
3+ years leading teams and developing talent
Deep expertise in U.S. benefits, with working knowledge of Canadian programs
Track record of leading benefits strategy in large, multi-state or global organizations
Advanced financial, analytical, and vendor management capabilities
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in complex environments
Experience designing communication strategies that drive engagement and behavior change
Expertise leading change management initiatives tied to program transformation
