Job Responsibility

  • Set and evolve the enterprise benefits and wellbeing strategy, aligning programs to business priorities and workforce needs
  • Lead execution of a multi-year roadmap spanning health, retirement, and wellbeing
  • Oversee design, delivery, and governance of U.S. and Canada programs, including medical, pharmacy, retirement, leave, financial wellbeing, and holistic wellbeing initiatives
  • Manage budgets, forecast trends, and implement strategies that optimize spend while maintaining market competitiveness
  • Select, negotiate, and manage vendor partnerships to ensure high-quality delivery and measurable performance
  • Ensure compliance with all U.S. and Canadian regulatory requirements and maintain effective governance frameworks
  • Drive an integrated wellbeing strategy across physical, financial, and emotional health to increase engagement and utilization
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, strengthening capability and accountability across the function
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and HR leaders to align rewards strategy with business objectives
  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide communication strategies that simplify complex concepts and increase employee understanding and action
  • Lead large-scale campaigns (e.g., annual enrollment, program launches) that improve participation and outcomes

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Benefits or Total Rewards
  • 3+ years leading teams and developing talent
  • Deep expertise in U.S. benefits, with working knowledge of Canadian programs
  • Track record of leading benefits strategy in large, multi-state or global organizations
  • Advanced financial, analytical, and vendor management capabilities
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in complex environments
  • Experience designing communication strategies that drive engagement and behavior change
  • Expertise leading change management initiatives tied to program transformation
