KAYAK is seeking a Director, B2B Communications to play a key role on the global communications team at KAYAK, leading our B2B internal and external communications efforts for our KAYAK for Business (K4B) offerings as a primary focus and supporting overall B2B comms for the KAYAK team too. This is a senior role that requires you to have leadership qualities and be adept at operating at all levels of an organization. You will be working with global K4B leads across account management, marketing, supplier relations, product and business development. This role will report to our Chief Communications Officer.
Job Responsibility:
Create and lead global and regional B2B communications programs in close coordination with teams across KAYAK
Build awareness around our B2B offerings, by shaping stories that resonate with key stakeholders including travel partners, clients and potential clients
Create and lead external thought leadership platforms for K4B, incl. content strategy for LinkedIn
Drive K4B media relations - pitch, maintain and develop strong media relationships with B2B media targets in key markets globally
Support events, conferences and speaking opportunities for K4B leaders and prepare them for media interviews
Maintain a steady cadence of internal communications efforts to ensure the internal team is engaged and informed about K4B efforts
Think strategically about K4B’s positioning and potential opportunities in a competitive travel space
Requirements:
Degree in Communications, Journalism or relevant area of study
Proven track record creating and managing B2B Communications programs
10+ years of experience in B2B Communications
Experience in building Comms programs in the US and EMEA markets (must-have)
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to navigate between multiple stakeholders across many locations globally
Nice to have:
Tech/travel experience preferred
U.S. public company experience a plus
