Job Description:

The Director, Audience & Connections Strategy at Wpromote will be a key strategic partner, blending audience intelligence with connections planning to design cross-channel strategies that connect brands with their most valuable consumers. As an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Director of Connections Strategy, this person will shape how data, insights, and culture come together to drive meaningful impact across media touchpoints.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contributing to the development of comprehensive connections strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Conducting analysis and research to uncover category, cultural, and consumer insights
  • Creating meaningful consumer journeys that map the path to purchase and identify key moments of influence
  • Serving as a strategic thought partner to clients, providing expert guidance on media investment decisions
  • Collaborating closely with media, data, account and creative teams to ensure strategies align with broader campaign objectives
  • Representing the agency’s strategic point of view in client presentations and new business pitches
  • Contributing to thought leadership initiatives that position the agency as an industry leader

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in consumer insights, connections strategy, or related field in an Advertising/Media agency environment
  • Deep expertise in using audience and competitive intelligence tools like GWI, MRI-Simmons, Resonate, Kantar/Media Radar, Pathmatics, EDO, and Similarweb to translate data into bold, insight-driven strategies
  • Proven success partnering with integrated media teams to develop and execute strategies across both traditional and digital channels
  • The ability to cultivate and grow client partnerships, driving collaboration, trust, and strategic alignment
  • A background supporting new business pitches and collaborating closely with media strategy
  • Experience presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape, including digital, social, programmatic, and traditional channels
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify meaningful insights and patterns
  • Experience developing consumer journey frameworks and campaign platforms
  • Working knowledge with AI tools and being able to design creative prompts for ideation and framework development
  • A strategic mindset with a consumer-centric approach
  • Strong communication and presentation skills that inspire clients and teams
