As part of CoreAI, the Foundry agent observability platform organization is focused on developing advanced tools and platforms to monitor, evaluate, optimize and self-improve AI agent performance. We are seeking an applied science manager to join the Agent Observability team to help lead our agent evaluation sciences and innovation and help amplify our efforts to improve Foundry agent success rates.
Job Responsibility:
Acting as a leading expert in your field you will recognize relevant people, organizations, and institutions influencing the research agenda and competitive landscape
You will champion innovative principles and form strategic partnerships with thought leaders in the industry
You will incorporate key business and product requirements to define a clear agenda and vision that influences the direction of the company for strategic advantage
You’ll drive programs structured around key business challenges and hold team members accountable for applying deep subject matter expertise
You will leverage your network and personal expertise to attract new research talent to join Microsoft
You’ll identify cutting-edge solutions for products, create new application areas as needed, and recruit new headcount for these areas
You will document work in progress and provide leadership for team members with documentation processes used

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
