At ELEMIS, we’re on a mission to create exceptional skincare experiences powered by nature, science and innovation. We’re now looking for a strategic, analytical and commercially astute ecommerce leader to shape and scale our Amazon 3P business. Based out of our New York office, as Director of Amazon Operations, you will own and lead ELEMIS’ Amazon commercial performance end‑to‑end. This is a high‑impact role responsible for the Amazon P&L, day‑to‑day operations, and long‑term growth strategy. Acting as the senior point of contact between Amazon, our agency partners and internal teams, you’ll drive profitable growth, elevate brand presence, and ensure operational excellence across the platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, brings a strong growth mindset, and enjoys working cross‑functionally to deliver meaningful commercial outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own and manage the full Amazon P&L, budgets and forecasting to deliver against profitability and sales targets
  • Define and execute growth strategies across advertising, promotions, retail programmes, site optimisation and assortment planning
  • Lead and partner closely with the Amazon agency, ensuring operational excellence, commercial performance and continuous optimisation
  • Oversee all Amazon-related operations including inventory planning, customer experience, listing and catalogue management, and account health
  • Own total sales and demand forecasting, working collaboratively with internal teams to align scenarios, plans and execution across stakeholders
  • Lead the planning and execution of new product launches, delivering best-in-class go-to-market strategies in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Own and optimise Amazon content performance, including PDP assets, landing pages and video
  • Develop and manage reporting frameworks that translate data into actionable insights and measurable commercial improvements
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance performance through analytics and testing
  • Ensure all actions and decisions support ELEMIS' sustainability commitments across our Climate, Biodiversity and People pillars, contributing to both short- and long-term goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • 8+ years' experience managing Amazon through Seller Central, ideally within a premium or luxury beauty brand environment
  • Deep understanding of Amazon Seller Central, FBA operations and Amazon media
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive profitable growth
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights
  • High proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and formulas
  • A proactive, highly organised self-starter who brings structure to ambiguity
  • Comfortable working at pace, managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience influencing across teams and partners
  • A growth mindset, openness to feedback, and a passion for continuous improvement
What we offer:
  • Paid Time Off
  • Annual Bonus
  • 401(K) (match 100% of your first 5% of contributions)
  • Company Holidays
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Generous Staff Discount on all your favourite ELEMIS products
