Job Responsibility

  • Develop a five-year roadmap to transform conventional production lines into fully or partially unmanned operations
  • Plan and execute the systematic replacement of manual involvement in safety- and ergonomics-critical tasks with robotic solutions
  • Drive gross margin improvement through the automation of production lines and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) by upgrading and modernizing equipment
  • Lead the digital transformation of the Belden Production System to enable data-driven operations and continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain a sustainable pipeline of cost savings through Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives
  • Ensure all new product designs comply with design-for-manufacturing principles optimized for automated production environments

Requirements

  • Engineering degree with a focus on manufacturing or automation technologies
  • 10+ years of experience in implementing advanced manufacturing and automation strategies
  • 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong expertise in robotics, process optimization, lean manufacturing and digital manufacturing systems
  • Strategic, analytical, and highly driven to achieve operational excellence
  • Strong global leadership and communication skills
