Job Description:

We’re seeking a seasoned Director, Ad Partnerships (East Coast) based in New York, a true revenue driver who thrives on opening doors, creating demand, and closing new business. This role is focused on expanding Sensical’s footprint across agencies and direct brands in the New York and broader East Coast market. This role is ideal for a seller who enjoys building a category, opening new accounts, and shaping the market around a differentiated video platform.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prospect, pitch, and close net-new business across CTV, digital video, and YouTube
  • Own and grow a defined book of business across NYC and East Coast agencies and brands
  • Deliver high-impact presentations that position Sensical as a must-buy for endemic children’s/family brands and major non-endemic advertisers seeking brand-safe reach with children and families
  • Create urgency and demand around Sensical’s differentiated, brand-safe offering
  • Represent Sensical in-market at events, agency, and brand meetings, and industry forums
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, or Communications preferred
  • Expertise closing meaningful deals across CTV, FAST, and digital video, including large-scale YouTube advertising programs
  • Experience navigating agency holding companies and working with planning and investment teams
  • Experience using Salesforce for pipeline management, forecasting, and client tracking
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong PowerPoint and Excel skills for sales tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, GAM with ability to analyze campaign performance
  • Strong, active relationships with NYC and East Coast–based agencies and brand marketers
  • Demonstrated success closing and renewing business
  • Relentless prospecting mindset with a high level of activity and ownership
  • Comfortable selling into a fast-evolving streaming marketplace
  • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and performance-driven
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
