Job Description:

A creative agency is looking for a Director of Social to lead social and creator strategy across a high-profile Government account. This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands how social works at a structural level, not just tactically. You will define the social direction, shape influencer strategy and ensure all output is culturally relevant, strategically sound and creatively ambitious.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead social and creator strategy across a major Government account
  • Shape and present RTBs and strategic responses to complex briefs
  • Define the role of creators and influencers across all tiers, from emerging voices to established talent
  • Develop integrated social frameworks aligned to objectives and measurable impact
  • Provide a clear, confident point of view on influencer direction and wider social approach
  • Act as senior client lead across social and creator workstreams
  • Manage and mentor internal teams and specialist partners
  • Ensure work balances creative ambition with governance and compliance requirements
  • Stay close to culture, platform behaviour and evolving creator ecosystems

Requirements:

  • Director-level experience within a creative, digital or integrated agency
  • Strong social-first background with proven social strategy and creator expertise
  • Experience leading large, complex or regulated accounts
  • Confident presenting to senior clients and stakeholders
  • Clear understanding of how creator strategy drives engagement and impact
  • Ability to translate cultural insight into strategic frameworks
