Job Description

The Direct Sourcing Specialist is responsible for global sourcing strategy of key business unit categories for Cytiva. They will create, update and maintain strategy and support supplier relationship management for Cytiva manufacturing sites globally.

Job Responsibility

  • Create, update and maintain global sourcing strategy for 1-2 categories in our Single Use Technologies Business Unit
  • Support site buyers and quality team with supplier escalations
  • Negotiate pricing and contract language with key local suppliers and own category suppliers globally
  • Deliver cost-out targets by negotiation and working with cross-functional project teams
  • Drive sustainability across supply chain by picking and promoting suppliers that champion sustainability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical or business with 2+ years' experience in supply chain or procurement role
  • Experience developing/maintaining global sourcing strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally at all levels of organization
  • Proven experience in tactical procurement including negotiating pricing/contracts and supplier relationship management
