The Direct Sales Consultant role will identify sales leads and present in-home presentations on our solar products and services for potential customers. Their priority is to make a genuine human connection with the potential customers with the intent to qualify and vet solar as a viable energy solution for their home and families.
Job Responsibility:
Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers
Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer's system is turned on
Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs, building productive long lasting relationships
Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all self generated leads and in-home consultations
Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience
In-home sales experience preferred
Must be 21 years of age
Possess a valid driver’s license
Maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to spend time traveling within local market
Intermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an IPAD/computer and multiple software applications
Experience with a CRM is a plus
