Developing a portfolio of new direct Individual client accounts to ensure Individual, Team and Global targets are reached within the direct channel for Individual Business. The right candidate will have sales and pipeline management experience, will have a can-do attitude and an excellent phone manner. Future challenges include expansion across geographic boundaries and into new operating environments enabling continual portfolio growth.
Job Responsibility:
Inbound and Outbound calls - identifying own leads and opportunities
Prioritize opportunities based on probability to convert
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Pipeline management using Salesforce.com
Customer follow up and leads actioned within agreed SLA’s
Liaise with underwriting and Sales Support regarding missing or further information requested to complete the application process
Structure calls with respect to Customer demands and suitability, adhering to call quality audit process
Negotiation in conflict situations to achieve a win-win outcome
Solve problems and pro-actively establish client satisfaction
Continual training and education to keep pace with product modifications, industry trends/changes and sales knowledge
Foster positive relationships with relevant internal stakeholders, ensuring best outcome for the client
Learn to up/cross sell policies where possible
Participate in ADHOC projects and testing when required
