We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Adult Support Services Financial Services Team as a Direct Payment Specialist. This temporary role is to cover maternity leave and offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference. The position is full-time (37 hours per week) for a period of up to 12 months to cover maternity leave. You will be part of our dedicated Direct Payment Team, supporting service users and ensuring smooth financial processes.
Job Responsibility:
Provide expert advice on Direct Payments to eligible individuals across Gloucestershire
support a range of professionals to promote Direct Payments as a choice
help customers setting up the direct payment arrangement
liaise with customers, care management and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide information and advice
contribute to the maintaining of accurate records of staff and the people who use our service, in electronic format
