The Dining Supervisor plays a key leadership role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for every guest. This position blends hands-on culinary and service work with team leadership, operational oversight, and customer engagement. Job Responsibility

  • Lead, train, and coach support staff to ensure consistent service excellence and operational standards
  • Oversee daily operations of multiple food stations, including deli, pizza, and grill, ensuring quality, efficiency, and presentation
  • Work hands-on alongside team members, assisting with food preparation, cooking, inventory management, and maintaining clean, organized workspaces
  • Manage POS transactions, cash drawers, and related office and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain café cleanliness and ensure full compliance with company safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols
  • Serve as a welcoming, guest-facing presence—engaging daily with customers and providing friendly, professional, and solution-oriented service
  • Support a positive team culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of culinary experience or experience in a supervisory or leadership role within food service or hospitality
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • ServSafe certification strongly recommended
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts as needed
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on leadership style
