We are seeking an experienced and passionate Dining Room Manager to pioneer our culinary operations in our new home at The Wharf. Welcome to ilili, where we invite guests to celebrate life and share sundry blends of modern and traditional Lebanese cuisine. Our goal at ilili is to unify our guest’s cultures and spirits with our own, expressing passion and generosity in the cuisine we share. Executive Chef and Owner Philippe Massoud excellently crafts a melting pot of Lebanese, Levantine, Mediterranean inspired cuisine mixed with New York attitude. Flavorful herbs and spices combine textures to appease broad-based palates. As a Restaurant Manager at ilili, you will be helping to lead our service and hospitality team for our second location in The Wharf, Washington DC.
Job Responsibility:
Work under the direction of the General Manager to manage daily operations of upscale dining restaurant
Lead by example to guide and empower the FOH staff on the floor, maintaining a hands-on presence throughout each service
Schedule and appoint tasks and responsibilities to staff as directed by the GM
Train and enforce ilili best practices and policies
Offer and inspire exemplary guest service
Other responsibilities to ensure ease of operations
Requirements:
2 years required years of experience
1-3 years of Dining Room Management in an upscale to fine dining, high volume NYC restaurant
Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or Culinary a plus but not required
Proven track record of successfully managing team members and the guest experience in high volume settings
Excellent communication skills
A quick thinker who enjoys problem-solving
Experience in training strong FOH teams
