Job Description:

Upon being hired for this position, you will enter a Probationary status, working up to 40 hours per week. Upon completion of the probationary period, you could become benefit eligible.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet and welcome guests with five-star hospitality and courtesy standards
  • Oversees seating/server rotation when seating guests
  • Verifies and makes reservations via open table
  • Maintains a waiting list when necessary
  • Performs other duties as required to exceed guests’ expectations in a five-star dining environment

Requirements:

  • 6 months to one year of food service or restaurant experience
  • Previous host/hostess and open table experience in a five-star restaurant is a plus
  • Demonstrated excellent public contact skills
  • Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to: (1) interact effectively with guests, employees and supervisors
  • (2) maintain standards listed below
  • In accordance with child labor laws, applicants must be 16 years of age in order to work various schedules

Nice to have:

Previous host/hostess and open table experience in a five-star restaurant is a plus
