Upon being hired for this position, you will enter a Probationary status, working up to 40 hours per week. Upon completion of the probationary period, you could become benefit eligible.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and welcome guests with five-star hospitality and courtesy standards
Oversees seating/server rotation when seating guests
Verifies and makes reservations via open table
Maintains a waiting list when necessary
Performs other duties as required to exceed guests’ expectations in a five-star dining environment
Requirements:
6 months to one year of food service or restaurant experience
Previous host/hostess and open table experience in a five-star restaurant is a plus
Demonstrated excellent public contact skills
Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to: (1) interact effectively with guests, employees and supervisors
(2) maintain standards listed below
In accordance with child labor laws, applicants must be 16 years of age in order to work various schedules
Nice to have:
Previous host/hostess and open table experience in a five-star restaurant is a plus
