ATI is currently seeking a Quality Inspector II to join our facility in Cudahy, WI. The Quality Inspector II position reports to the Quality Leader and is an integral part of a dedicated team who take great pride in helping ATI achieve production and quality results. As a Quality Inspector II, you will inspect and examine assembled parts and products, such as forgings for flaws or defects to ensure that all required standards and specifications have been met and approved to prepare parts for shipment. A successful Quality Inspector is attentive and detail oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment and is motivated to quickly learn about ATI’s products, processes, and quality standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Read and comprehend dimensional drawings
  • Use multiple types of standard measuring instruments, special gauges, fixtures, templates, and others in performing assigned duties
  • Check forgings visually and dimensionally, as detailed on the inspection methods sheets
  • Report non-compliance to department supervision as directed
  • Complete part identity marking, record dimensional data, and prepare reports as required

Requirements

  • Min. of 3 years of quality experience
  • Experience with precision measuring devices including calipers and micrometers
  • Previous experience in Quality performing inspections
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CMM Experience
