Job Responsibility:

  • Define and establish datum schemes, tolerances, and requirements for chassis commodities
  • Serve as Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) lead for feasibility assessments
  • Oversee the drawing-check process for designated vehicle commodities
  • Define and implement measurement strategies
  • Approve fixtures in accordance with project requirements

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 6-8 years’ experience in dimensional management
  • Knowledge of basic statistical concepts and process control
  • Strong understanding of Variation Simulation Analysis tools
  • Knowledge of measurement systems and manufacturing processes
  • Understanding of dimensional engineering deliverables within the vehicle development process
  • Proficiency in standard PC tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • In-depth understanding of chassis commodities within vehicle requirements
  • Proficiency in performing 1D/3D stack-up analyses to evaluate design feasibility
  • Ability to organize and present complex technical information in a clear, concise, and impactful manner across the organization
  • Experience in Build troubleshooting
  • Capability to train and mentor team members
  • Advanced knowledge of GD&T principles, with proven ability to create and validate technical drawings
  • Proficiency in CATIA (V5 and V6)
