Job Responsibility

  • Ensure implementation of the Company’s Quality Policies, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies, Procedures and Quality Plans is to comply.
  • Ensure that Project Quality specially dimension and tolerance to be implemented and complied with Specification, ITP, Procedures and National Regulation as well.
  • Assist and support Snr. Structural Inspector, Chief Inspector and QA/QC Lead to review and approve Contractor/Vendor’s fabrication Plan/Program and then monitor/witness activities to evaluate dimension and tolerance integrity, including interface from fabrication and installation are accurately.
  • Overall supervision and ensure that, all dimension tasks and other activities such as Material/Equipment inspection, Assembly, Welding of onshore fabrication, Load-out & Sea-fastening and offshore installation include HUC campaign that to be complied with latest AFC drawing, approved Procedure and Specification.
  • Under direction of Chief Inspector, QA/QC Lead and QA/QC Manager to support other Inspector on their role and performance (including Contractor Inspectors and Third-Party Inspectors).
  • Work closely with Contractor, Vendor to maintain the Project dimension tasks performance are within the KPI and ensure that all mating interfaces between fabrication and installation are accurately measurement.
  • Interface, Communicate and Maintain close liaison with other Project Disciplines, Contractor, Vendor, Third Party for all relevant Activities.
  • Participate in the issue of Site Issue and Non-conformance Report include Disposition or Corrective Action and Preventive Action.
  • Review and analyze relative construction documentation and other inspection reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Maintains good relationships with Contractor and Vendor but being strict to achieve the Project objectives.
  • As a member of QA/QC Team and report directly to QA/QC manager, QA/QC Lead and Chief Inspector as well.
  • Perform other duties that are assigned by QA/QC Manager, QA/QC Lead and Chief Inspector as well.

Requirements

  • Must hold a degree of Engineer in Mechanical/Civil, Construction or Equivalent.
  • Familiar with Quality Assurance & Quality Control Systems.
  • Must hold Valid Certificates: total station dimension training certificate
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of professional working experience in the oil and gas industry, of which five (5) years of experience relevant to the role and responsibilities such as Dimension Inspector or Senior, etc.
  • Involved in at least three (3) WHP/CPP/LQP and Infield Pipelines as well as Engineering, Fabrication, Testing, Installation and Connection Support for both Contractors and Clients.
  • Strong knowledge of material, construction, techniques, and equipment.
  • Sound knowledge in and Conversant with International Codes and Standards such as AWS, ASME, BS EN, API, ASTM, DNV, NACE, ISO., etc.
  • Good sense of team spirit leadership, coordination and communication skills in multi-cultural environment.
  • Good computer skills (Auto CAD, PDF, Word, Excel, Power Point) and relevant software.
  • Good command in English (writing, listening and speaking)
