Job Description:

Yimbly is seeking a strategic, data-driven Digital Visual Merchandiser to serve as our digital window dresser and brand guardian. In this newly created role, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end visual journey across Yimbly.com transforming traffic into transactions. This is a pivotal, independent position joined at a critical moment in our growth. You will be responsible for architecting a high-converting digital storefront that balances stunning aesthetics with commercial rigor, directly driving CVR and product discoverability. Please note although this is a remote position the team meet up once a quarter at Canary Wharf for strategy planning / team achievements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the visual hierarchy of the Homepage and Category pages
  • Leverage automated sequencing rules like 'Trending' or 'High Margin' and manual curation for high-impact events like Black Friday
  • Refine product filters and attribute tagging to ensure the catalog remains fresh, discoverable, and aligned with seasonal customer trends
  • Analyze heatmaps and CTR data to iterate on site layouts
  • Lead onsite A/B testing for merchandising tactics to improve conversion rates and average order value
  • Ensure a cohesive, premium look across all devices as the primary Onsite Brand Guardian
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Trading teams to translate brand campaigns into high-converting digital storefronts
  • Work directly with Marketplace sellers to optimise their dedicated Brand Pages
  • Create bespoke storytelling environments using immersive content and curated layouts

Requirements:

  • Proficient in using tools like Google Analytics to turn data into design decisions
  • Proven track record of improving CVR through layout optimization and rigorous A/B testing
  • Expert knowledge of e-commerce merchandising tools and automated collection logic such as Shopify or Klevu
  • Background in visual merchandising
  • Sharp eye for on-brand design balanced with a trading mindset
  • Collaborative influencer who can work cross-functionally with Marketing, Design, and external sellers
  • Experience managing brand identities
  • Working within a high-traffic publishing or media-led retail ecosystem is highly desirable
