Join Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore, a key player in maritime classification and certification, to support the digital transformation of Ships in Service activities worldwide. You will increase operational efficiency, improve quality and strengthen customer satisfaction as part of the Digital Solutions & Transformation department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and prioritise the digital roadmap for the Ships in Service activity
  • Identify opportunities for business improvements with new technologies and contribute to the definition of the asset model
  • Help sequence the transformation journey into agile steps (prototype → pilot → deployment)
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to shape, validate and maintain the digital solutions
  • Prepare and lead user tests, facilitate validation workshops with selected networks office
  • Identify and launch pilot projects with selected countries/clients
  • Organise and lead workshops with digital project managers, operational & technical management, country and client representatives
  • Facilitate alignment of stakeholders and decision-making processes
  • Participate in defining the change-management strategy: network support, communication, promotion of usage

Requirements:

  • Qualifications from a tertiary institution within a relevant field of engineering or physical science (minimum two (2) years program)
  • or Qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant seagoing experience as a certificated ship officer
  • Proven experience in an Engineering or Survey Capacity with an IACS member Classification Society (field surveyor, Quality Manager or Operations Manager)
  • Solution-oriented, appetite for transforming operating models and digital technologies

  • Excellent communication in English, bring people together and facilitate
