The Digital Transformation Development Specialist will analyze legacy processes and End User Computing solutions, as well as available data sources, to come up with technology solutions to automate processes and decrease manual tasks. This is a technical developer role, the person will work primarily with KNIME as he/she develops automated workflows that replace earlier manual (mostly excel based) reporting solutions. This role will liaise with several departments outside of Technology, many of them located overseas, thereby gaining exposure to a broad range of international stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Work with stakeholders in Regulatory Reporting function of Finance to develop and deploy digital solutions that automate the creation of financial reports for internal use or for financial regulators
Design, Develop and Deploy automation solutions using low‑code technologies and rule engines (e.g. KNIME) and automation scripts (e.g. Python, Java Script)
Apply and advocate for development best practices, driving continuous efficiency and productivity improvements
Implement production changes based on business requirements
Provide support to resolve workflow execution issues requiring development expertise
Collaborate closely with business and technology partners to deliver reliable, high‑quality solutions
Stay open to learning and adopting new technologies specific to the Regulatory Reporting space
Requirements:
4-6 years of relevant experience in field related to role (e.g. software programming, ETL, BI, automation roles)
Knowledge or prior experience with any of data analytics/visualization/automation tools (e.g. KNIME, Alteryx, Python, PowerBI, Tableau)
Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines or unexpected changes
Strong documentation and technical writing skills
Ability to work independently while following specifications and maintaining documentation discipline
Team‑player mindset with flexibility to support teammates or take on non‑development tasks when needed
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
Experience in programming languages like Python, Java, SQL
Experience working in a regulated or controlled environment
Familiarity with Financial Reporting processes
BA knowledge/experience is beneficial
Confident in working with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
Knowledge of data processing, ETL patterns, or analytics pipelines
Literacy in AI development tools or frameworks (e.g., small personal AI projects, experimenting with LLMs, using local or cloud‑based AI tooling)
