The Digital Solutions Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing digital solutions that enhance GSK’s business operations and customer experiences. This role focuses on the technical execution and support of digital initiatives, ensuring that solutions are effective, aligned with business needs and the digital applications integration through the data communication among the several layers.
Job Responsibility
Solution Development and Implementation: Work closely with business units to understand their requirements and identify appropriate digital solutions
Design, develop, and implement digital solutions, including software applications, platforms, and tools ensuring the data integration cross layers
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and comply with GSK’s technology standards and regulatory requirements
Project Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and management of digital solution projects
Utilize project management methodologies and tools to track progress, manage risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Tech, Automation, Global teams, business units, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of digital solutions
Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to drive project success
Innovation and Technology Exploration: Stay updated on the latest digital trends, technologies, and best practices
Identify and evaluate new digital tools and technologies that can enhance GSK’s operations and customer experiences
Conduct pilot projects and proof-of-concept studies to assess new technologies
Ensure the provisions of the employer regarding Health, Safety and Environment regulations in their area of competence, in accordance with D.Lgs. 81/2008, 152/2006 and EHS&S Corporate Standards
Execute technical training courses, Gemba walkthrough and promote communication initiatives with all business stakeholders for manufacturing systems
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Solutions, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in developing and implementing digital solutions, with a proven track record of successful projects
Proficiency in programming languages, software development, and digital tools
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (eg: Waterfall, Agile) and tools
Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Fluent level of Italian and English (both written and spoken)
Nice to have
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and relevant regulatory requirements is a plus
