Job Description:

The Digital S/W Engineer Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/job family.

Job Responsibility:

Turn tech stack and application design into code on multiple development platforms
Address a variety of responses to problems, questions, or situations
Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities
Accountable for development, design, construction, testing and implementation
Write secure, stable, testable and maintainable code
Engage in digital applications development, risk technology, Middleware, Mainframe applications
Take the time to fully learn the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties
Understand the business context and the associated customer use cases
Drive clarity into technical implementation
Build and maintain integrated project development schedules
Negotiate features and associated priority
Improve team development related processes
Ensure self and peers are actively seeking ways to objectively measure productivity
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

5-8 years in an Apps Development role
Demonstrated execution capabilities
Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Angular, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery
Equipped to use AI tools
Good to have knowledge in AI, Gen AI
Design and implement integrations using microservices architecture
Must have experience with Kafka
Work with SQL and other standard database query tools to manage and retrieve data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver exceptional user experiences
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with Angular
Experience with Red Hat OpenShift
Hands-on development experience with Java
Experience with CI/CD development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Git, Bitbucket)
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Knowledge in AI, Gen AI
