Job Description:

The Digital Software Engineer Intermediate Analyst role at Citi is a developing professional position responsible for application systems analysis and programming, development, design, testing, and risk technology. This position requires the ability to manage technical implementations in alignment with industry standards and organizational goals.

Job Responsibility:

Turn tech stack and application design into code on multiple development platforms
Address a variety of responses to problems, questions, or situations by applying established criteria
Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities including assisting with feasibility studies and time/cost estimates
Accountable for development, design, construction, testing, and implementation of secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code
Engage in various tech activities including digital applications development, risk technology, Middleware, Mainframe applications, Non Mainframe applications, Analytic Model Development, and Application support
Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions
Understand the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of systems involved in projects
Understand business context and associated customer use cases
Drive clarity into technical implementation
Build and maintain integrated project development schedules
Negotiate features and associated priorities
Improve team development-related processes
Ensure self and peers are seeking ways to measure productivity

Requirements:

5-8 years in an Apps Development role
Demonstrated execution capabilities
Strong experience in java, springboot, microservices
Experience in database and kafka is good to have
Understanding of CI/CD pipeline and cloud technologies
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Data driven and results-oriented
Experience in running high traffic, distributed, cloud based services
Experience in affecting large culture change
Experience leading infrastructure programs
Skilled at working with third party service providers
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice to have:

Experience in database and kafka
Understanding of CI/CD pipeline
Knowledge of cloud technologies
