Job Description:

The Digital Sales Representative manages virtually (by phone, electronically or social media) a set of accounts; builds, maintains and forecasts sales pipeline, creates and develops account plans. They work closely with company outside sales, channel partners and end customers to move sales opportunities to closure. They generate and qualify leads to create new sales opportunities, sets and executes sales strategy for an assigned portion of their accounts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage virtually (by phone, electronically or social media) a set of accounts
  • Build, maintain and forecast sales pipeline
  • Create and develop account plans
  • Work closely with company outside sales, channel partners and end customers to move sales opportunities to closure
  • Generate and qualify leads to create new sales opportunities
  • Set and execute sales strategy for assigned accounts
  • Sell standard solutions for assigned accounts based on defined account strategies and plans
  • Create account plans for assigned accounts
  • Generate and qualify potential leads
  • Build targeted sales pipeline
  • Provide special bid pricing support across the territory
  • Handle general enquiries from partners and customers
  • Provide enablement to select partners

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of relevant sales experience or equivalent
  • Foundational understanding of company's portfolios of products and services
  • Introductory industry knowledge in a particular territory
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment
  • Hunter approach or strategic farmer or relationship selling approach
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management system or Salesforce system
