We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Digital Projects Officer to join our Digital, Systems and Insights team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of digital initiatives across the organisation, helping to implement new technologies and systems that improve how we work and support service delivery. By enabling staff to use digital tools more effectively, the role will help free up valuable time for clinical teams and ultimately benefit the service users we support.
Job Responsibility:
Maintaining project documentation such as action trackers, risk logs and project records
Organising and supporting project meetings
Preparing agendas and recording minutes
Assisting with monitoring project progress and milestones
Working closely with members of the digital team as well as clinical, operational and corporate colleagues to support the successful delivery of digital initiatives
Supporting the rollout and adoption of digital systems and technologies across services
Responding to staff queries
Helping colleagues use new digital tools
Gathering feedback from users
Assisting with system testing or implementation activities where required
Contributing to improving how digital systems are used across the organisation
Requirements:
Understanding of the importance of digital systems in supporting healthcare services and organisational operations
Awareness of information governance, confidentiality and data protection requirements when working with organisational or service information
Understanding of the need for effective communication and stakeholder engagement when introducing new systems or processes
Basic understanding of project processes, including planning, documentation and monitoring progress
Understanding of challenges associated with introducing new digital technologies into organisations
Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with a range of staff groups
Ability to produce clear documentation, reports and meeting notes
Ability to support colleagues in the use of digital systems and technologies
Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Educated to NVQ Level 3, A-Level standard or equivalent qualification, or equivalent level of knowledge gained through relevant experience
Evidence of good IT literacy, including use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Planner, Teams, Visio)
Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development related to digital systems or project support
Experience of providing administrative or coordination support within a team environment
Experience of organising meetings, preparing documentation and maintaining records
Experience of using IT systems and digital tools within a workplace setting
Experience of working with a range of stakeholders or colleagues across different teams or services
Nice to have:
Knowledge of digital transformation or service improvement approaches within healthcare or public services
Awareness of project management frameworks such as PRINCE2 or similar methodologies
Qualification or training in project management or project support methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent)
Qualification or training in digital technologies, information systems or business administration
Evidence of continuing professional development related to digital systems, project management or service improvement
Experience of supporting projects, programmes or service improvement initiatives
Experience of working within healthcare, NHS or public sector organisations
Experience of supporting the implementation or rollout of digital systems or technologies
Experience of gathering feedback or information to support service improvements
