To be the local business partner responsible for Digital, while working as a seamless part of the global Ingka Group Digital organization. Ensure IKEA Digital products and platforms are delivered with excellence to meet the needs of customers. To secure effective Information Technology (IT) that supports IKEA business processes by maintaining, developing and supporting reliable, robust and efficient Digital products and platforms. Country Group Digital contributes to the growth of IKEA and improves the customer´s life at home. Country Digital also works together with all functions to ensure co-workers have the Digital tools and capabilities they need to do their best work. Ensure Digital deployments are done with excellence and in coordination with Central Group Digital (Central) and all other country functions.
Job Responsibility:
Own Country Digital roadmap plan
Ensure that product rollouts run according to plan, based on detailed digital roadmap plans received from roadmap teams
Facilitate flow of roadmap feedback from countries to roadmap teams
Lead implementation of all digital launches in the countries
Ensure proper multifunctional staffing for successful launches in the countries
Evaluate and report all launches as per defined metrics
Provide feedback & recommendations based on evaluation to improve digital toolbox components to Central Group Digital deployment team
Ensure rapid adoption of new products across countries through an exponential rollout plan with contribution from assembled deployment support teams
Secure that country teams organise for deployment in close collaboration with global deployment support teams, in terms of people and tools
Ensure timely implementation of change management activities with Digital Project Leader & Digital
Successfully drive the adoption of products, including communications, training, and stakeholder management
For some countries also manages the country specific product portfolio in the country
Work across initiatives within Ingka Group, steering a successful digital product deployment that drives IKEA business results.
Requirements:
Minimum 12+ years of experience in leading complex technology projects and managing change in a high-tech digital environment
Must have 5-6 Years of coding and hands-on experience in web technologies, scripting and system design
Successful track record of managing, planning and launching digital products across multiple sites
Proven experience in People and Program Management techniques, tools, project management methodologies and best practice
Strong experience in planning and delivering complex change initiatives and digital products, with a minimum of 3+ years in a comparable role
Proven track record of launching and scaling digital products across multiple markets, including structured release and rollout planning
Ability to lead and navigate change in a matrix organisation, working effectively across functions, countries, and stakeholders
Experience leading cross functional, agile teams, demonstrating inclusive, values based leadership in line with IKEA ways of working
Hands on experience in agile ways of working, including iterative development, key ceremonies, and delivery artefacts
Strong capability in change management and digital transformation, ensuring adoption and sustainable business impact
Deep understanding of release, deployment, and rollout management, working closely with product, technology, and business partners
Good understanding of retail and eCommerce, with the ability to drive business development and reinvention through digital solution
Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with execution, turning ideas and developments into deployed, value creating outcomes
