Job Description:

Due to continued growth, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Digital Print & Finishing Operator to join our industry-leading team. Based at our Chesterfield site, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our print and finishing department, taking responsibility for the full production process—from file preparation through to final quality control and packing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate a range of digital print and finishing equipment
  • Manage the full print workflow, including ripping files and sending jobs to print
  • Operate digital cutters and complete packing of finished products
  • Perform routine maintenance and ensure equipment is kept in optimal condition
  • Carry out thorough quality control checks on all output
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with SOPs and health & safety standards
  • Work flexibly across day and afternoon shifts to support business demand

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Passion for print and finishing processes
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in small-format digital print and finishing (Jetrix and Kongsberg preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided)
  • Proficient with software such as Onyx Thrive and/or Print Factory (desirable)
  • Highly computer literate and numerate, with good problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Jetrix and Kongsberg machinery
  • Proficient with software such as Onyx Thrive and/or Print Factory
