Job Description:

Digital Presales Solution Architect (Operational Services) role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise providing technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for technical support and leadership in creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Interact with sales/pursuit team to understand customer requirements and create quotes
  • Identify technological solutions needed to fulfill customer business objectives
  • Work in collaboration with sales to develop pricing quotes and SoW for in-pursuit deals
  • Develop end-to-end solutions for managed services delivery to exempted customers
  • Identify and contribute to projects to improve services, customer satisfaction, profitability, and team efficiency
  • Create solution proposals, pricing, and presentations
  • Co-ordinate, support and communicate with other teams for adding, modifying, or removing environments and deliverables
  • Translate customer RFP into requirements document and proposal

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of technical experience
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study
  • without a degree, 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor/Master's degree (either in STEM or in Humanities/Commerce with equivalent technical certification)
  • Technical knowledge (must have): Computer/Server Hardware, Storage, Datacenter, Operating System
  • Proficiency in working knowledge of MS office
  • English (Fluent - Written & Spoken)

Nice to have:

  • Technical knowledge (good to have): Networking, Virtualization, Cloud, Containers, or other emerging technologies
  • Technical writing skills
  • Ability to drive conversation/discussion
  • Strong customer focus with ability to manage escalations
  • Deep understanding of Datacenter and Operation Services business in HPE Pointnext
  • Team player with ability to motivate and support other engineers
  • Basic knowledge on pricing tools
  • Capability to handle pressure during peak times
  • High level of technical & account management communication skills
  • Ability to lead high level cross organizational customer orientated projects
