As a Digital Media Specialist, you will be responsible for capturing and editing quality video content for educational and promotional videos of client projects. Successful candidates should possess technical skills in camera operation, lighting, sound, and the ability to edit footage to create compelling final products. Additionally, excellent communication and time-management skills are essential for liaising with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering projects within deadlines.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with team to understand project objectives, requirements, creative direction and feedback
Plan video shoots, including storyboarding and scheduling
Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots (must have own equipment)
Capture high-quality footage that meets the creative brief and project vision
Edit raw footage into polished final videos using editing software
Apply color correction, basic color grading, sound balancing, and light motion graphics as needed
Add music, graphics, subtitles, closed captioning, and special effects as needed
Deliver videos in required formats and resolutions for various platforms
Manage and organize video files, ensuring backups and proper archiving
Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and stored
Stay up-to-date with new technology and techniques in videography
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a videographer
Proficiency in video editing and editing software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently or within a team, and adapt to changing roles and priorities
Ability to travel to project sites in the U.S., Canada or Europe
Corporate client experience
Experience filming at construction worksites
Experience directing talent/subjects being filmed
Must have valid passport
Must have own equipment
Nice to have:
Proven experience in film, video production, or related field
