Job Description:

An Account Executive at Brkthru is responsible for hunting new territory and developing new business. This is a critical and highly visible position that is integral to growing revenue and maintaining client relationships at Brkthru.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and prospective business opportunities
  • Conduct in-depth needs analyses across various industries and business types
  • Consistently close and secure new business to drive revenue growth
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging digital media solutions
  • Proactively identify and solve challenges, engaging in direct and strategic conversations both internally and externally
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and territory plans
  • Generate new business through networking, outreach, and strategic prospecting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver compelling sales presentations
  • Address and resolve client concerns in a timely, professional manner to foster long-term relationships
  • Ensure timely payment collections in alignment with company standards
  • Cultivate lasting client relationships, driving retention and growth
  • Secure client referrals and testimonials to support business development efforts
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system
  • Participate in all required meetings and adhere to company expectations for responsiveness and engagement
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in new business sales within the advertising industry
  • 2+ years of experience in digital media sales preferred (Programmatic, CTV/OTT, Audio, DOOH, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments
  • Proven ability to uphold company Core Values in client and internal interactions
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and internal team gatherings as needed
  • Must be based in or near a top 100 DMA
