We are looking for a creative and self-directed Digital Marketing Specialist to support marketing initiatives for the Parking & Ground Transportation team in Galveston, Texas. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys producing engaging digital content across social media, email, video, and web platforms while collaborating with internal marketing partners. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can capture content onsite, shape compelling visual stories, and help maintain a consistent online presence.
Job Responsibility
Develop and publish digital content for social platforms, email communications, and web channels to strengthen audience engagement
Produce video projects from planning through final edit, including onsite filming, footage selection, and post-production enhancements
Design marketing assets such as graphics, promotional visuals, and short-form multimedia content using industry-standard creative tools
Update and maintain website content in WordPress, ensuring information remains accurate, timely, and visually aligned with brand standards
Partner with the Parking & Ground Transportation team, the Digital Marketing Coordinator, and other stakeholders to execute marketing priorities and campaign deliverables
Monitor digital campaign performance using analytics tools and apply insights to improve reach, interaction, and overall effectiveness
Create and distribute email marketing materials and newsletters that support departmental communications and ongoing promotions
Stay current on emerging social media trends, content formats, and platform best practices to keep campaigns fresh and relevant
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or a closely related field
Demonstrated success creating social media content and producing video for marketing or promotional use
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
After Effects experience is highly valued
Hands-on ability to record and edit video independently in an onsite environment
Experience working with WordPress to manage site content and related plugins
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact and campaign reporting tools like Google Analytics
Working knowledge of digital advertising tools, including Google Ads, and an understanding of performance-driven marketing
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across teams
