Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting marketing efforts for a non-profit organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This part-time position offers flexibility, with remote work opportunities available for up to three days a week.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and update content across multiple WordPress websites, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Design and produce both digital and print marketing materials to support various campaigns
Create and schedule engaging social media content using tools such as Hootsuite
Write and edit blog posts and other copy to align with organizational goals
Perform light graphic design tasks to enhance visual communication
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of marketing projects
Maintain a backlog of tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Troubleshoot minor issues with WordPress plugins and themes as needed
Assist in brainstorming creative ideas for future campaigns

Requirements:

2 plus years of experience in digital marketing or content creation
Proficiency in WordPress, including familiarity with plugins and themes
Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for graphic design purposes
Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong copywriting and editing skills
A creative mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
