We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Washington, District of Columbia. This role focuses on leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud to drive impactful automation strategies and deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, particularly within the nonprofit, association, or education sectors.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and optimize the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to enhance marketing automation capabilities
Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to execute programmatic and operational initiatives
Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improving marketing automation workflows
Develop and implement data strategies, including member segmentation profiles and integration approaches
Create and execute high-impact automation workflows, ensuring baseline performance metrics are met
Design and conduct A/B testing to improve productivity, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness
Implement advanced segmentation and dynamic content personalization strategies based on behavioral data
Develop membership automation strategies such as personalized renewal campaigns, onboarding sequences, and re-engagement initiatives
Build analytics dashboards to track marketing performance, member engagement, and predictive metrics for acquisition, retention, and growth
Document standard operating procedures and provide cross-training to enable marketing team members
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google AdWords platforms
Proven ability to create and manage email campaigns with HTML and CSS
Experience with advanced segmentation, personalization, and predictive modeling techniques
Proficiency in designing and implementing A/B testing strategies
Knowledge of marketing analytics and reporting, including predictive analytics for lifetime value and churn
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Certification in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is preferred but not required
