Purpose of the Role: As our Digital Marketing Manager, you will spearhead our digital marketing strategies to enhance Rotorua's online presence. Your expertise will drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and boost visitor numbers. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will ensure our digital marketing aligns with our goals and delivers measurable results.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to promote Rotorua as a premier destination
  • Optimize website content and performance for SEO and user experience
  • Manage digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Create compelling content for digital channels including websites, blogs, social media, and email newsletters
  • Design and execute email and CRM marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
  • Ensure compliance and safety

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience managing SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
