Our client is looking for a strategic and analytical Digital Marketing Expert – SEO/GEO Content & Tech to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO/GEO strategy that enhances organic visibility, supports lead generation, and drives business growth. Job Responsibility:
Define and implement SEO/GEO strategies across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO dimensions
Manage SEO/GEO campaigns including keyword and prompt research, content optimisation, and link-building initiatives
Translate complex SEO/GEO technical requirements into actionable user stories for IT teams
Create and manage content strategies across squads, maintaining a centralised content calendar
Monitor and report on SEO/GEO performance using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
Train internal teams on SEO/GEO best practices and share of voice strategies
Collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to ensure SEO/GEO is embedded across the digital ecosystem
Ensure compliance with SEO/GEO best practices and relevant industry regulations
Requirements:
Ambition to further develop your career in digital marketing and SEO strategy
Proven experience in a similar role, with at least 7 years of relevant experience
Past experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus
Your strengths include SEO/GEO strategy, content architecture, and digital analytics
Working experience with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, Content Square, and Figma is essential
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are needed in this job
Fluent communication skills in Dutch or French, and English
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management in digital environments
Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and a structured approach to problem-solving
Open to change, quality-minded, and goal-oriented with a leadership mindset
Nice to have:
Past experience in the banking or financial services industry
