The Digital Marketing Executive shares the story of Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo by leveraging all digital platforms available, through innovation, inspiration and storytelling. This role supports the Director of Public Relations & Digital MARCOM in executing strategies in digital marketing, social media, content development, and online reputation management, and measures success through outcomes supported by weekly management of analytics and reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the planning and execution of a monthly social media calendar and grid, ensuring alignment with property priorities, seasonality, holidays, and brand standards
Create and curate on-brand, aspirational social content in collaboration with the Director of Public Relations to amplify key messages and storytelling
Oversee paid media content strategy and quarterly creative refreshes with the Director of PR & Digital MARCOM
Manage daily social media activity, including monitoring, community engagement, and responding to inquiries and reviews across major platforms
Administer social media and influencer platforms (Sprout, Traackr, Social Native) and support UGC integration into the social strategy
Coordinate SEO strategy with external agency partners and maintain digital assets across the website, app, booking engines, and image/video libraries
Manage integrated social and web content with PR agencies, contractors, and DOSM, including corporate and seasonal initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with luxury and travel influencers, staying current with social and digital trends
Collaborate with internal departments to address customer service issues and ensure timely, goal-driven digital execution
Support photo and video shoots, manage shared content drives, and upload assets to brand-level galleries
Set and track quarterly performance benchmarks, analyze competitor and market insights, and continuously optimize digital content based on data and luxury trends
Own social media analytics, manage monitoring tools, and create a merged reporting system to ensure all relevant data across reporting platforms tells a complete story
Own FS.Com analytics reporting
Create and share a monthly digital and social media analytics presentation that highlights strengths, weaknesses, and key learnings
Manage creative trafficking, analyzing results, and reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, preferred
4-6 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, partner and project management
A self-starter attitude and motivation to think outside of the box creatively
A background in managing agency partners and working cross-functionally with internal departments
Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and customer acquisition
Excellent analytical, organizational, and presentation-building skills
Strong, effective, and direct communication skills
Ability to read, write copy, and speak fluently in both English and Spanish
Requires a working technical knowledge of digital marketing and management platforms
