One of our fast-growing clients in the B2B publishing and international events sector is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to support the delivery of high-quality digital marketing activity across its global media brands and event portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a digitally confident, detail-driven marketer to take ownership of day-to-day digital execution across websites, email, social media, subscriptions, and events. Working within a structured and fast-paced marketing team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring consistent brand presence, audience engagement, and commercial performance across multiple platforms. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the role offers strong exposure to international brands, digital products, and live events, with opportunities to see the direct impact of your work on a global audience.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the day-to-day operation of multiple company websites, ensuring content accuracy and brand consistency
Upload and maintain SEO-optimised articles and digital content
Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO best practices
Monitor website and SEO performance and implement optimisation improvements
Support digital advertising uploads, placements, and performance tracking
Build, schedule, and deploy newsletters, digital magazine release emails, and ad-hoc campaigns
Manage subscriber databases, including new subscriptions, renewals, unsubscribes, and re-engagement activity
Support CRM maintenance, data cleansing, and GDPR-compliant contact management
Plan, create, schedule, and publish organic social media content across multiple brands
Manage posting calendars and ensure a consistent brand tone
Track engagement and performance metrics and report insights to the wider team
Support the development of new social media campaigns and ideas
Manage marketing logistics for international trade events, including shipping materials and merchandise sourcing
Represent the company at selected international events, engaging with delegates and promoting media brands and subscriptions
Gather and present digital marketing performance data across SEO, email, social, and subscriptions
Support competitor, market, and customer research to inform marketing planning
Work closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to deliver agreed priorities
Operate effectively within structured workflows, deadlines, and brand guidelines
Support shared inbox management and wider marketing activity as required
Occasional work outside standard business hours and international travel
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a digital B2B marketing role, or a relevant Marketing Graduate with strong hands-on Digital Marketing experience
Proven experience executing digital marketing activity across websites, email, and social media
Strong copywriting skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience using CMS platforms and basic website builders
Practical understanding of SEO fundamentals
Confident using CRM and email marketing platforms
Highly organised, process-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Ability to work effectively within defined briefs, timelines, and review processes
Confident communicator, including in customer-facing environments
Working knowledge of GDPR within a media or publishing context
Nice to have:
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Search Console
Experience supporting international events or B2B media brands
Background working in a structured, fast-paced marketing team
