Job Description:

It’s an exciting time to join Russell-Cooke, a top 100 UK law firm and just crowned Independent Firm of the Year by the Lawyer and Outstanding Corporate Culture at the British Legal Awards. We act for household name clients ranging from Pret a Manger to Sky UK and Unicef, iconic London landmarks such as Borough Market and Alexandra Palace and communities, such as Grenfell. Our specialists are leaders in their fields, repeatedly recognised in the legal directories by peers and clients. Our strong connection with London and our local communities is reflected in our clients, our partnerships and in our enduring commitment to social justice. Our people are trusted to take responsibility and challenge themselves. We take a more thoughtful approach to law. Energy, ability and ambition are important, but so is an empathy with the firm’s values and approach to practice. As the firm grows and evolves, so too does our marketing and business development team. We are building a best-in-class team to help support and deliver the firm’s ambitious strategy. We are now seeking someone who can play a key role in driving our digital marketing initiatives. As we take a more campaign-focused approach, we want someone who can help lead our digital campaigns with a strong commercial mindset. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, you will help shape and execute the digital strategy to build brand awareness and drive traffic. You will work across all online channels -including web, email and social media - while keeping the broader marketing mix in view. Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will bring commercial awareness, strong analytical ability and a commitment to measuring ROI. You will be full of ideas, confident in taking ownership and capable of seeing both large and small projects through to completion. You will also become the firm’s go-to digital specialist across a broad range of practice areas. If you are a digital marketing assistant or junior executive ready to take the next step, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the day-to-day coordination and maintenance of the website
  • Create, edit and distribute content across all digital channels and lead on your own integrated, digital marketing campaigns for relevant departments
  • Manage the mailer calendar and drive our use of our EMS to maximise it commercial potential
  • Analyse and report on website and digital platform performance (using Google Analytics and similar tools)
  • Lead the development of podcast and video content, working with the marketing team and departmental MBD plans
  • Help the Digital Manager in managing the day-to-day relationships with external agencies, including web and SEO partners
  • Additional ad hoc duties as needed

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of relevant marketing experience (in-house or agency)
  • Professional services experience (legal sector preferred)
  • Strong digital expertise, including SEO (ideally some knowledge of AEO/GEO), Google Analytics (GA4), PPC and social media
  • Experience in developing digital content that enhances brand awareness and drives engagement
  • Hands-on experience using a modern CMS (e.g., Umbraco, WordPress or similar) to manage and update website content.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Dotdigital, Mailchimp or similar), including building campaigns and managing lists/segments.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally
  • A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and commercial opportunities
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Nice to have:

Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro) would be an advantage but is not essential.

What we offer:
