The Digital Marketing Communications Executive role sits within our Digital Marketing team - a small but ambitious team with big ideas, where you can make a real impact! Reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager the role will be responsible for a variety of regular digital marketing activities including content creation and publishing (web and social media), SEO enhancements, measuring the performance of our work, and collaborating with partner agencies. You will also take ownership over a number of initiatives to help evolve our digital channels and drive the team forward. These include commissioning 3rd parties to deliver larger elements of our content strategy, identifying new ways of working to exploit opportunities to use AI, and researching new tools to improve efficiency across the team.
Job Responsibility:
Contribute to the management of MHMC website(s), including content creation and publishing activities to grow and evolve our online offering
Work with 3rd party consultants and in-house analysis tools to deliver ongoing SEO enhancements (both on- and off-site) to ensure our website is visible to both traditional and AI generation search tools
Oversee content creation projects – including the use of generative AI tools and specialist 3rd party suppliers – for website copy, video, social media and other channels
Contribute to the management of our social media channels through regular publishing, engaging with communities (i.e. Reddit) and reporting back on performance
Prioritising own workload to ensure regular responsibilities and ad-hoc projects are delivered on time and at pace
Strive for innovation within the business, highlighting new technologies, channels, and ways of working
Requirements:
Previous experience working within a brand-led digital marketing environment
Expertise in writing and creating content for web, socials, and email
Appreciation of the use of AI tools in content generation
Willingness to attend site as part of a hybrid model of working - approximately 4-5 days a week on-site during the training period (circa one month), followed by a minimum of 1-2 days per week on-site thereafter
Previous experience of working in a brand-led digital marketing environment
Demonstrable experience of writing compelling customer-facing content for use across web, social and email
Knowledge of SEO best practice techniques, for both traditional search and AI visibility
Experience of using AI tools to create content (inc video) and to source recommendations on best practice approaches for digital marketing
Excellent MS Office skills
Excellent written and communication skills
Data oriented
The ability to work with minimal supervision and to prioritise and manage workload
