A growing education‑focused organization is seeking a Digital Marketing Automation Specialist to manage and optimize email marketing programs, landing pages, and automated campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to take full ownership of a complex Marketo environment. You will not be creating email content—instead, your primary focus will be on building, executing, and troubleshooting campaigns within Marketo and ensuring flawless audience targeting and segmentation.
Job Responsibility:
Own and execute email campaigns inside Marketo, including audience segmentation, program setup, QA, scheduling, and deployment
Manage both school‑specific and enterprise‑level landing pages and email programs
Ensure accurate targeting across a custom Microsoft Dynamics CRM integration connected to Marketo
Maintain data integrity and troubleshoot sync issues between Marketo and the CRM
Oversee campaign flow for lists ranging from 5,000 to 100,000+ contacts within specific programs (with a total Marketo database of ~400,000)
Run high‑volume parent/guardian email campaigns (often between 60,000–100,000 recipients depending on segmentation)
Take over responsibilities currently handled by an outside agency and serve as the organization’s primary Marketo operator
Adapt quickly to shifting needs, respond promptly to marketing requests, and support ongoing conversations to unify two internal email systems (Marketo + CRM‑based emails)
Collaborate with internal marketing, operations, and technology teams to enhance workflows and improve campaign efficiency
Requirements:
Strong hands‑on experience in Marketo
Ability to manage complex campaign logic, smart lists, and CRM‑driven data structures
Highly organized with strong attention to detail—comfortable managing large audiences and multi‑step workflows
Able to learn quickly, work independently, and take full ownership of automation processes
Flexible, adaptable, and responsive—able to support urgent requests or evolving campaign needs
A long‑term mindset: someone who wants to grow with the organization and become the go‑to internal expert
Nice to have:
