Job Description:

Digital Manager position at IKEA Industry, the world's largest manufacturer of wooden furniture. The role involves managing the IT team, developing and maintaining IT infrastructure, implementing IT systems that support business processes, ensuring data security, managing IT budget, and coordinating IT projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the IT team (organize work, supervise, motivate, and develop employees)
  • Cooperate with IKEA Industry's Central IT Department
  • Develop and maintain IT infrastructure and ensure its operational continuity
  • Implement, maintain, and develop IT systems that support business processes
  • Ensure data security and compliance of the IT environment with company security policies
  • Work closely with all organizational units of the company
  • Plan and manage the IT budget (both operational and investment)
  • Coordinate IT projects (e.g., hardware replacement, new system implementation, infrastructure upgrades)
  • Manage licenses, office infrastructure, mobile devices, and other IT resources
  • Oversee purchases of hardware, software, and fixed assets
  • Introduce and implement new technological solutions
  • Create and update technical documentation and operational procedures

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of managerial experience with proven success in leading a team and supporting employee development
  • At least 3 years of experience working in the IT department of a manufacturing company
  • Higher education in computer science (master's degree)
  • Very good command of English (B2/C1 level)
  • Very good command of Polish (B2/C1 level)
  • Knowledge of ERP and BI systems, Microsoft technologies, virtualization, IT infrastructure, and databases
  • Experience in project management (preferred)
