Digital Learning Officer

• Partner with academic staff to design and deliver high-quality digital learning experiences using the University’s Brightspace learning management system and a range of educational technologies
• Collaborate with academics to translate teaching intent into engaging, accessible, and pedagogically aligned learning activities, including the development of bespoke digital resources that enhance the student experience
• Build academic capability through practical guidance
• Support the implementation of innovative approaches, including the use of emerging tools such as AI where appropriate
• Contribute to the development and delivery of digital content that meets accessibility, copyright, brand, and quality standards
• Manage competing priorities to deliver work to agreed timelines
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and learning design

• Experience creating digital learning content
• Knowledge of educational technology and online platforms
• The ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines
• Confidence supporting and training staff
• A strong focus on quality, accessibility, and clear design
