Our client is a global, independent powerhouse in construction consultancy. While they have a legacy of working on the world’s most iconic landmarks, they are now looking toward the future. We are seeking a Digital Lead / BIM Manager for a newly created strategic role. This isn't a 'back-office' modelling job; it is a leadership position designed to sit at the intersection of Architecture, Construction, and Data Science. Your mission is to harness BIM, Digital Twins, and AI to redefine how cost and value are measured in the built environment.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement a roadmap to utilise BIM and Digital Modelling to automate and enhance the accuracy of Quantity Surveying (QS) and Cost Management
Liaise directly with Tier-1 Architects and Head Contractors to ensure digital models are optimised for '5D' (Cost) and '6D' (Sustainability) outcomes
Lead the charge in adopting AI-driven tools to extract data from models, significantly reducing manual takeoff time and eliminating human error
Act as the internal champion for digital literacy, mentoring staff on how to leverage digital tools to provide higher-value advice to clients
Requirements:
A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Digital Engineering
Mastery of ISO 19650 standards and deep experience with Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/Construction Cloud
A proven interest or experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Analytics as applied to construction data extraction
8–10+ years within a design firm, head contractor, or consultancy, with a clear track record of implementing digital workflows
The ability to explain complex digital concepts to non-technical stakeholders and C-suite executives
